Myndra Privacy Policy

Overview

Myndra is a cognitive rehabilitation platform designed to help users improve cognitive function through daily comprehension exercises. This policy describes how we handle your data.

Data We Collect

Account Information: Username and hashed password (we never store plaintext passwords)
Session Data: Exercise responses, scores, completion times, difficulty levels
Performance Metrics: CPI scores, component scores, difficulty progression, streak data
Device Information: No device identifiers or tracking data are collected

How We Use Your Data

To generate and adapt cognitive exercises to your performance level
To track your progress and provide performance analytics
To export session data to your local Obsidian vault (if configured)
AI-powered evaluation of exercise responses (for Pro and Clinician tiers)

AI Processing

Exercise responses may be sent to third-party AI providers (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) for evaluation
AI evaluation is only used for Pro and Clinician tier users
Free tier users receive deterministic (non-AI) scoring
AI providers process data according to their respective privacy policies
No AI provider retains your data for training purposes under our agreements

Data Storage

Local-First Architecture: All data is stored locally in a SQLite database on the server you connect to
No Cloud Dependency: Myndra does not require cloud services to function
Obsidian Export: Session notes are exported to your local Obsidian vault as Markdown files
SwiftData (iOS): Session data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data to third parties
We do not share your data with advertisers
We do not use your data for purposes other than providing the Myndra service
Clinician tier: If a clinician adds you as a patient, they can view your session history and performance trends

Your Rights

Access: You can export all your data at any time via Settings
Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings
Portability: Data export provides a complete JSON dump of all your information

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all data is permanently and immediately removed. There is no data retention period after deletion.

Children's Privacy

Myndra is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Myndra is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Myndra does not provide medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.
